We are saddened by the news of Opportunity Village (OV) losing its Thrift Store to a fire on Sunday. We have personally taken a tour of this amazing organization and have seen first hand, the OV staff training their clients to be able to go out in the work force and hold a job. Words cannot explain the emotion I felt that day during the tour watching and learning what happens at OV. Memory Lane Video & CSA along with other Vegas organizations have teamed up to help this great cause. This short video is a little of what OV stands for.

Here is a short bio of Phil Hellmuth, Jr.
Phil Hellmuth, Jr. is the greatest poker player to ever play the game. His 2007 World Series of Poker win was his 11th career WSOP title. In addition to having amassed an unsurpassed record 11 World Series of Poker championships, Hellmuth has set astonishing records for both most World Series cashes (68) and most final tables (41). As expected, Phil Hellmuth’s net worth is staggering, due in part to his World Series of Poker wins and extensive list of main event finishes.
In 1989, 24 year-old Phil Hellmuth became the youngest person ever to win the World Series of Poker Main Event by defeating two time defending champion Johnny Chan. His record as the youngest champ stood for 19 years. In 1993, Hellmuth set another record by winning 3 bracelets in a single year and also a 2nd place finish.
Every time poker champion Phil Hellmuth wins a WSOP championship bracelet he gives it away. He has given bracelets to his mom, dad, wife, three sisters and brother, two sons, and close friends. But he’s always kept the first one for himself.

Michelle Parsons and the rest of the ladies at Tuxedo Junction kept the party a secret from Mikka for several weeks’ right up until Mikka arrived for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Mikk…a was caught by surprise when she returned to Tuxedo Junction after going out for morning coffee. 1/29/2010 – MORE is a local entertainment news show in Las Vegas. On Friday, the show featured MEMORY LANE VIDEO and the new Promotional Piece that had brides talking.
Film Noir is a genre of movies that is characterized by low-key lighting, a bleak urban setting, and corrupt, cynical characters. The Film was filmed exclusively on location at Aliante Station starring the beautiful Allyson Stagg of the Las Vegas Style Sirens.
The Powerful piece that Memory Lane Video created is incredible. It sets Memory Lane Video apart in establishes us as the true Hollywood Cinematographers in Las Vegas.

In the now popular monthly episode series of Coffee with Ricky, I had the pleasure to sit down with Dawn Heaney, one of the owners of Couture Bride in Las Vegas. I have known Dawn for years now and am an admirer of her beautiful salon. I was delighted to sit down with Dawn and learn about her historical roots with Vera Wang, NY – & Oscar de la Renta.
Dawn and I casually sat in her salon over a brew and discussed emerging trends in Bridal Fashion Dresses, Trunk Shows, and the array of beautiful gowns that Dawn has exclusive access to in her salon. Dawn made me feel very comfortable and her beautiful salon was the perfect backdrop to this episode. Dawn & Couture Bride will be at the Fabulous, BRIDAL SPECTACULAR, along with other amazing vendors.

Dawn Heaney and Flora Petakas Marinelli, former executives at Vera Wang, and Annette Cirillo-Bergen announce the opening of COUTURE BRIDE, the first and only full service luxury bridal salon in the Las Vegas area. The shop, located at 950 S. Durango Drive, will be the exclusive retailer for Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Monique Lhuillier, Elizabeth Fillmore, Ulla Maija and Platinum Collection.
Former colleagues at Vera Wang in New York City, Heaney and Marinelli have spent the past 6 years learning from the best. “Vera taught us how luxury is done,” says Heaney. “Couture Bride will be modern, sophisticated and elegant. Selecting your bridal gown will be a uniquely warm and inviting experience within the especially romantic yet exciting environment we have created.” Annette’s familiarity with the Las Vegas area, as well as her business background, make this partnership the perfect match. We are excited to bring our knowledge of the luxury bridal business to Las Vegas.”
“It is important for our brides to see all their options instead of relying on us to select what we think will be best for them. We want to be able to present all style, fabric and silhouette options for the customer to narrow down,” said Marinelli. The décor of the boutique will compliment the unique topography of the Las Vegas Valley. Fabrics and interior accents will be chosen with respect for the colors of the stone canyons and red rocks of the region. Rich, earthy shades of silk satin organza and silk duchesse satin will be combined in a unique way to exude luxury, warmth and couture. “Every detail of Couture Bride will encompass luxury and chic sophistication.” said Cirillo-Bergen.
The store concept involves plans to carry bridesmaids’dresses and a bridal registry to include tabletop items, stationery and small gifts. “Our hope is to build the registry over time as well as offer gowns for the mother of the bride and guests,” said Marinelli. There are also plans to install a webcam system so mothers of brides who are unable to be with their daughters at their appointments can see the choices they are making via cell phones or computers.
Couture Bride will set a new standard for bridal salons in the Las Vegas area. It will envelop all the excitement, energy and sophistication of the new “Urban Las Vegas”.
